I am very excited to announce a new online ministry. It is a website for
us to share, AS WE ABIDE together in Christ. My desire is for it to be
inspirational,instructional, and interactive. I will be blogging at least
weekly about various topics, and hope you will interact with me. My goal for
this site is to have a place where we can share our hearts, our questions,
and the things the Lord is teaching us. A place where we can encourage one
another, learn from one another, and draw from one another’s gifts and
strengths, AS WE ABIDE together.
Also, a feature on this new website will be Abide teachings. This will
primarily be from Ladies Bible Study, but will also include retreats and
other special events. This Tuesday, 1/12, I am beginning a new series, “To
Be or Not To Be… That Is The Answer”.

I read this quote by Hudson Taylor(1869-pioneer missionary) this morning in a book by Nancy Leigh De Moss. The quote was spoken in reference to holiness and what that means for us. I was struck by the fact that there is no way for us to be holy other than through our faith in Him to make it so. All of our struggling, striving, and attempts to live in a holy manner are for nothing without Him. We can only live and learn as he teaches day to day till His holiness is evidenced within us through joy, praise, and service for Him.
