You’re Safe Here!

The Foothills Foursquare Church is a loving group of people who believe serving Jesus Christ is a “get to” kind of thing and not a “have to” kind of thing. At The Foothills, we love to worship God, hear His word and have fun together. We are by no means a perfect church which makes it easy for just about anybody to join in! In every way we want to be “real” people with a desire for…

Our Worship To Be “Real” And Not Artificial.

We are genuine and expressive in worship, but know the difference between the sounds of praise and the noise of people. We worship as a choir, not as soloists in competition. We worship in spirit with liberty, but also in concert with leadership. It’s safe to praise God with us, for we will not allow either prideful displays or personal demonstrations aimed at drawing attention.

Our Fellowship To Be “Real” And Beneficial.

We encourage communication and interaction, recognizing that true fellowship is impossible without the pusuit of transparent and authentic relationships. What is shared in prayer is sacred and what is revealed from your heart is treasured. We hold this trust, that all who minister the life of Jesus must also minister with the love of Jesus. That love is unconditional and non-manipluative, and always covers weakness and sin with strength and forgiveness.

Our Ministry To Be “Real” and God Honoring.

We ask the Holy Spirit to be present here, and to distribute gifts among us according to His will. All the gifts are present in the Church, and every believer is urged to be free and responsible to minister with sensitivity. We desire to see their manifestation but are not gullible as to their demonstration. We will be gracious in ministry, submissive in spirit and orderly in the operation of the gifts.

Our Desire To Be “Real” Like The Early Church.

“Day after day, they met as a group in the temple and they had their meals together in their homes, eating with glad and humble hearts, praising God and enjoying the good will of all the people. And every day, the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46-47)
